How to pay electricity bill if consumer number is 13 digit through paytm

1. Open the Paytm App

2. And Tap on the Electricity Icon on the homepage

3. Default option selected is ‘Electricity Boards’

4.  Select the ‘State’ of your electricity board

5. Now, select your Electricity Board.

6. If there are multiple subdivisions, please select your Subdivision.

7. Enter your Consumer Number/Account Number. Click on ‘View Sample Bill’ to know where to find your Consumer number in your physical bill copy.

8. Then, click on ‘Get Bill’ to fetch bill details like consumer name, due date, bill amount etc.

9. Confirm the Consumer Details and the Bill amount.
 By selecting Fast Forward here, You can proceed directly to payment page, otherwise you will be moved to deals page. Now, tap on Proceed to Pay

10. Select the deal of your choice and apply the relevant promo code if any.

11. Tap on Proceed to Pay

12. Select your preferred Payment Mode here. You can either pay with your Paytm Wallet or use a Debit Card/Credit Card or Net Banking. You have the flexibility to deselect the Paytm wallet option if  you do not wish to use the wallet balance. As of now we will use Paytm Wallet to make the payment.
Click on ‘Pay Now’ to confirm your payment.

13. On successful payment you will see success on the order summary page.
Here, you can also see details like order number, payment status etc. A confirmation of payment will be sent to your registered mobile number & email id too.
